Is your child missing the after school activities they were doing before school closures began? There’s no doubt. Look at this program as a way to fill in that gap and choose from various games, music, and art & crafts to get your little one’s imagination in gear! Can’t decide on just one activity? Pick two and mix things up during the week. You won’t be hearing, “I’m bored!” anymore.
To keep things fun for your kids, each of these 50-minute classes is divided in two (a 30-minute session and a 20-minute session):
Dance Off & Snack Art: For the first 30 minutes, your child can get all of that energy out while having a blast. Kids create and show off new dance moves. Then, in the last 20 minutes, since they probably worked up an appetite with all that dancing, we show them how to turn some ordinary healthy ingredients into an art piece they get to gobble up. Talk about a fun snack! Not to mention the fine motor skills they practice in this 20-minute DIY snack art tutorial.
Scavenger Hunts & Adventure Yoga: For the first 30 minutes, your child will go on an at-home scavenger hunt challenge! We review shapes, household vocabulary, toys, clothes and more as kids search and share the objects they find. Then, to settle back down, we lead them in a 20-minute yoga program focused on breathing, stretching, and moving to a storyline filled with silly jungle animals.
Art Makers & Doodle Battles: For the first 30 minutes, your child will make a piece of art from easily accessible recycled materials. We make prep easy for parents, and then guide kids step by step until their little masterpieces are complete! We then finish with a 20-minute doodling lesson. We’ll give your child a topic, show a demo and then let kids practice and share.
All classes are private or semi-private (1 to 5 students), ensuring individualized attention for your child.
